I make felted knitwear – clothes and accessories for women. Limited editions of shawls, skirts, scarves and bags as well as one-off designs of jackets and ponchos.
As a result of my experimenting way of working, no two pieces are alike. I continuously explore new ways of achieving effects of contrast – for instance by combining linen with felted wool, mixing colours in unexpected ways or cutting holes in dense, felted wool.
My work reflects Scandinavian simplicity and design tradition.
My favourite materials are pure linen, silk/wool and pure wool – all of excellent quality. In addition, I work with materials like monofilament and metallic threads.
